Randwick Race 4 - 6 Athiri - So Godolphin have essentially won every feature juvenile race this season. The Golden Slipper, ATC Sires, Blue Diamond, VRC Sires and Magic Millions and amazingly every one with a different member of the ‘Blue Army’.

There are five of them attacking the Percy Sykes at Randwick and we are happy to go with one of them again. It’s a new member of the team this time.

Athiri runs off a back-up after being the favourite in the Kindergarten. It was a good rating race and she was too far back in that. This time on a better surface and getting a nice weight pull, we think she can unleash a bigger sprint this time.

Given James Cummings has done so well with these back-up fillies, you’d suggest she will be primed now. We are getting about $7 to find out.

Athiri is a greek white grape for making wine and we reckon you’ll be toasting her success early in the day then settling in for a moment in history two hours later.
