Winx came up with gate 13 in the final field of 15 at Tuesday’s barrier draw.
The Chris Waller-trained mare resumed with a win in the Theo Marks Stakes and Hugh Bowman stays aboard for Saturday.
Waller has three runners in the $1million handicap with Silverball (Brenton Avdulla) drawing gate five and Sadler’s Lake (Jim Cassidy) from three.
Topweight Hooked will be ridden by Tye Angland and drew gate two with Lucia Valentina (Zac Purton) four and Rudy (Luke Tarrant) nine.
Team Hawkes have a pair of runners with Entirely Platinum (Tommy Berry) drawing wide in 14 and Messene (Jay Ford) jumping from eight, while John O’Shea also has two acceptors in Sweynesse (James McDonald) from 11 and Malice (Joao Moreira) from the rails.
Jason Attard suffered a blow with Sons of John (Jeff Penza) drawing the outside gate while Gai Waterhouse’s lone runner Ecuador (Glen Boss) came up with seven.
Blake Shinn rides Kirramosa for John Sargent from gate 10 while Teronado (Jason Collett) has six and Pressing (Glyn Schofield) drew 12.
Winx maintained her position at the head of the market after the draw, with the TAB offering $2.80 in fixed odds final field betting.
Only two other runners are at single figure odds, Lucia Valentina and Sadler’s Lake both $8 chances.
Entirely Platinum, Rudy and Silverball are all at $11 while the $15 line is shared by Kirramosa, Sweynesse and Sons of John.
Hooked, Messene and Ecuador were all at $26 with Malice and Pressing at $51 and Teronado the $101 outsider.
