Talented filly Manaya is headed back to the spelling paddock after pulling up sore from her resuming run in Saturday’s 2016 Silver Shadow Stakes.
Trainer Mr Michael Costa has reported to Racing NSW Stewards that Manaya was found to be sore over the back following the 2016 Silver Shadow Stakes and has confirmed that her current campaign will be aborted.
Manaya struggled in the run home to finish sixth in the 2016 Silver Shadow Stakes, 6.6 lengths behind the winner Omei Sword.Manaya had only raced once before Saturday, taking out the Listed Woodlands Stakes at Scone.
