Racing and Sports highlight our standout plays at Australian TAB meetings for December 02.
Australian thoroughbred TAB meetings are today held at Sapphire Coast, Dalby and Tamworth.
SAPPHIRE COAST: RACE 2 @ 2:15 PM
SIR SUBLIME (5) created a big impression when getting off the mark two-back at this track and trip. Went forward from the good draw and run down late when second over 1600m at Queanbeyan on November 12. This looks easier and best figures measure up. Goes close. PILLAGER (9) fifth-up for this and drops sharply in weight with the claim. Drifted back and failed to get into the contest when fifth over 1460m at Queanbeyan on November 12. Blinkers come off and improvement expected. FUDGE (6) had genuine excuses last time out when over-raced early before fading to run ninth over 2000m at Queanbeyan on November 12. Drops in weight with the claim and no shock to see her take a hand in the finish. Looking for a good return from MYSTIC DIVA (7).
SELECTIONS: Sir Sublime to win.
As a FREE Racing and Sports offer, below is the Sapphire Coast Computer Card.
DALBY: RACE 2 @ 2:03 PM
IDHANA (2) has been plying his trade in the southern states and should find this task easier. Has placed when fresh before and may run a race first-up. GLAD RAG DOLL (8) has been thereabouts at the past three efforts and can improve enough to play a role in the finish. Hard to discount. CHICK CHICK STICK (1) gets plenty of weight relief with the 3kg claim and may earn some minor money.
SELECTIONS: Idhana to break through.
TAMWORTH: RACE 6 @ 5:15 PM
LORD PROTECTOR (3) has thrived since making the move from Victoria and the extra time to mature would have also helped as he made it 2 wins in a row for his new connections at Quirindi 18 days ago, scoring by half-a-length. Aaron Bullock takes over from an apprentice and the hat-trick beckons. TORNADO EXPRESS (11) will be peaking third-up after a pair of fourth-place finishes to open her season. Senior hoop Mitch Bell takes over from an apprentice. Can win. STAR BING (12) strips fitter second up and from a handy draw, she is expected to improve quickly. HARBOUR GOLD (1) has been mixing his form but will appreciate the 4kg for this assignment. He will backing up quickly and is not out of this.
SELECTIONS: Lord Protector to win.
