Racing and Sports highlight our standout plays at Australian TAB meetings for November 03.
Australian thoroughbred TAB meetings are today held at Muswellbrook, Innisfail, Nowra, Mornington, Naracoorte and Narrogin.
MUSWELLBROOK: RACE 4 @ 3:30 PM
Some promising types come together. PRIMA BELLA (2) returned from an 11-month spell with a tidy second over this distance at Kembla three weeks ago. Has only been to the races twice so she has a lot more to offer. BOLD AS LOVE (3) has not raced since he led all the way to win on debut over this distance at Scone in July. Started $2.05 that day so it surprised no one. Expecting a strong return. TALUK (7) had a change of stables and a nine-week let-up between her first and second starts, and the difference was remarkable. Coasted home for new trainer Roy McCabe over this distance at Orange after showing good gate speed. One to follow. IN SUMMER (5) resumes. Won at Scone on debut then started at $1.55 but just missed the placings over 1280m here before spelling. Big chance back to this more suitable trip. ROYAL BOMBADIER (1) ran a nice race first-up at Newcastle and will give a good account out of the inside alley.
SELECTIONS: Prima Bella on top in an interesting race.

INNISFAIL: RACE 1 @ 2:05 PM
Former Victorian IGNACIO (1) is having his first start for the new stable but showed more than enough down south to suggest he can be competitive in a race like this. Has placed two from three when fresh and should give this a mighty shake. CHOCMINT (5) wasn't too far off them over this track and trip when resuming and is sure to have come on with that run now under the belt. Looms as the main danger. LOVES AFFECTION (9) was a touch disappointing at the latest effort but go on the run two back where she went down by the narrowest of margins. Worth another chance. COPPABELLA ROAD (3) strips fitter second-up from the spell and is drawn to get all the favours from the inside alley. In the mix. FEARGACH (2) best of the rest from the favourable draw.
SELECTIONS: Ignacio to shed the maiden tag.
NOWRA: RACE 3 @ 3:05 PM
THREEFOLD (11) third up today and will find this more to her liking after failing to sprint with them when fifth over 900m at Newcastle last time out. Well drawn and go on her solid second two back at Moruya. Hard to hold out. ISAGURA (8) finally drawn a decent gate after drifting back again from the wide barrier when fifth over 1200m at Canberra on October 18. Claim helps again and she can stalk the speed today. SURE INTENTIONS (6) in need of the run first up when a plugging sixth over 1100m here on October 20. Blinkers go on for this and improvement is expected. SAWMILL (10) has the right profile for a fair debut performance.
SELECTIONS: Threefold to win.
MORNINGTON: RACE 8 @ 4:50 PM
COIN TOSS (1) clearly on top here. He struggled first up when sitting on a hot pace at Caulfield behind Jimmysstar which is strong form. Coin Toss then ran in the Sale Cup and stuck on well for third to some solid types. He should be primed now third up in an easier race and will be very hard to catch. COSMIC VEGA (2) was well backed fresh in the G3 Moonga Stakes at Caulfield but didn't really come on in a strongly run affair. He'll be much fitter for that and does have plenty of ability. MONTATHER (5) was a surprise winner of a good BM78 at Moonee Valley last start but has strong claims if he can repeat the dose. RHINOCEROS (4) hasn't really fired this time in but could improve.
SELECTIONS: Coin Toss to win.
NARACOORTE: RACE 7 @ 4:35 PM
QUIK RHAPID (6) returns and looks to have come back in great order on the back of a strong trial win in readiness. Has run well fresh and is a winner over this trip. Bright return anticipated. COOL MAGNUM (7) was better last start when chasing gamely into the placings. Strips fitter and is drawn favourably,. Can give this a big shake. Can also make smaller cases for the resuming DALE'S ROCKET (4) and ANJOPIN (3).
SELECTIONS: Quik Rhapid to win.
NARROGIN: RACE 2 @ 5:50 PM
WINEACLOCKSUMWHERE (4) has gone close in his past couple, just missing as an equal favourite last time out at Geraldton. He looks to get a lovely run in transit this time from an inside alley and he looks set to shed the maiden tag. WRITTEN SIN (10) looked good in her recent trial at Lark Hill. Her two siblings are both winners and she should get her chance from a nice barrier. Can put her best foot forward on resumption. BRANDBERG (3) won his only trial this time in work and looks ready to fire on debut. The draw is a little niggle, though he looks to have found a nice race to start his career and it wouldn't surprise to see him in the finish. SUMMER MOOD (7) will find this much easier than the races she's contested in her career to date and she has claims. STRUTTING FOR CASH (6) drops right back in trip for the new barn and comes into this on the fresh side. Creates interest.
SELECTIONS: Wineaclocksumwhere can get the job done.
