Josh Giddey has been restricted to eight points but a season-high 39-point haul from Nikola Vucevic was enough to lift Chicago to victory over San Antonio.

Australian Josh Giddey and Ayo Dosunmu have produced a stat last achieved at Chicago by Michael Jordan and Scottie Pippen as the Bulls posted a 139-124 victory over San Antonio.

Giddey entered the match on a high following his 20-point, 13-rebound, 11-assist game against the Nets just days earlier.

And while he had a quiet Thursday night with eight points, four assists and four rebounds in 24 minutes, it was Dosunmu's turn to claim a triple-double, with 27 points, 10 rebounds and 11 assists.

That made Giddey and Dosunmu the first Bulls teammates to secure triple-doubles in back-to-back games since Jordan and Pippen in 1993.

Nikola Vucevic was explosive for the Bulls with 39 points on 16-of-22 shooting.

Keldon Johnson led the way for San Antonio with 28 points, but former No.1 draft pick Victor Wembanyama was sidelined with a back injury.

Chicago's second straight win improved their record to 10-13, while the Spurs are 11-11.

Australian Josh Green was restricted to just five points, four rebounds, two assists and one steal as his Charlotte Hornets slumped to a 125-101 loss to New York.

The Knicks were well led by Karl-Anthony Towns, who tallied 27 points and 16 rebounds to record his 12th consecutive double-double.

Denver superstar Nikola Jokic moved into outright third position on the all-time triple-double list but it wasn't enough for victory in a 126-114 loss to Cleveland.

Jokic tallied 27 points, 20 rebounds and 11 assists for his 139th triple double, breaking a tie with Magic Johnson.

But with Cleveland making 22 of their 48 attempts from long range, Denver couldn't keep pace.

Donovan Mitchell finished with 28 points for Cleveland, while Darius Garland (24 points), Caris LeVert (21 points) and Evan Mobley (20 points) were also important.

Marcus Smart scored 18 points, including two vital free throws with 2.9 seconds left, to lift Memphis to a 115-110 win over Sacramento.

Grizzlies star Ja Morant was ejected late in the game for his second technical foul, but Memphis did enough to hold on for victory.

New Orleans snapped a nine-match losing run with a 126-124 win over Phoenix.

Brandon Ingram scored 29 points and CJ McCollum added 25 points in the upset win.

Devin Booker led Phoenix with 28 points, while Bradley Beal chipped in with 24.

Dallas thrashed Washington 137-101, with Luka Doncic (21 points, 10 rebounds, 10 assists) and Kyrie Irving (25 points) leading the way.

Oklahoma City outclassed Toronto 129-92 on the back of a 30-point haul from Shai Gilgeous-Alexander.
