Racing and Sports highlight our standout plays at Australian TAB meetings for November 09.
Major metropolitan meetings are today held at Flemington, Doomben, Morphettville and Hobart.
FLEMINGTON: RACE 6 @ 3:50 PM
The first of three outstanding Group 1 races. It's hard to go past BELLA NIPOTINA (5) who is in career best form, tough when wide throughout to win The Everest two back before getting a sweet trail and coming away to win easily last time. Small query is her record down the straight, but she's been an absolute marvel of late and looks a fair gamble. OVERPASS (2) was a very strong winner of the G2 Sydney Stakes first-up and arguably would've gone close in The Everest, winning in quicker time than that race. GIGA KICK (1) was excellent third-up in The Everest when charging into 2nd behind Bella. He's a proven straight track performer who looks back to something like his best. SUNSHINE IN PARIS (6) is a classy mare who could suit the straight. BARAQIEL (4) can acquit himself well off a strong G2 win.
SELECTIONS: Backing Bella Nipotina & Overpass.

DOOMBEN: RACE 6 @ 4:22 PM
BUSTING (5) didn't come up last campaign but the form he showed previously was full of merit. Revved up for this with two recent trials and trust that Gollan will have him forward enough to feature in the finish. THANKYOU HENRY (12) hasn't done much wrong with two wins and a second from just three career starts and has earned his shot in town now. Worth serious consideration. THAT'S AN EXTRA (13) has won three of four overall and has to be included following a few key scratchings.
SELECTIONS: Busting to win.
MORPHETTVILLE PARKS: RACE 3 @ 1:59 PM
SPIRIT OF CAMELOT (3) was well supported fresh but never got going, tacking on for a midfield finish. Has been kept fresh with four weeks between runs and steps out sharply in trip. From a smart stable, so expecting sharp improvement. BURNING BRIGHT (4) was also well found by the market last start but couldn't quite get the job done over a longer trip. Expect her to charge forward again to give herself every chance. CARARADA (1) was a very impressive winner two back, then left herself with too much to do at the latest. She will likely drift back again from the draw but is capable of tearing them down late if they run along early. ZOOMED (6) warmed nicely to her task late when resuming at Ballarat. Will have come on from the hitout and will appreciate the added trip. In the mix. It's also hard to knock the form of LIMBERING (8).
SELECTIONS: Spirit Of Camelot to win.
HOBART: RACE 6 @ 3:36 PM
DID YOU DECIDE (6) had to work hard early from a wide gate to settle handy to the pace when resuming from a spell at Launceston just over 3 weeks ago and did well to hold onto third place. He has a better draw this time and will appreciate the extra furlong on offer. He strips fitter and can take this out. OLE OLA (5) has needed both of her runs back from a spell at Launceston and is back to his favourite track third up. He has the right draw and with top hoop David Pires in the saddle, he is ready to put his best hoof forward. Each way. DAYAN STAR (3) seldom runs a bad race and was only a short head back from the winner at Launceston as favourite 15 days ago. He is in a good space and another good run is expected. FREAK ON A LEAD (1) has been freshened since failing in his only start this season at the start of spring and is much better than what he showed that day. He was an easy winner of a recent trial and can't be underestimated in this.
SELECTIONS: Did You Decide to win.
