The Greyhound Board of Great Britain (GBGB) has formed a new long-term partnership with Racing And Sports Pty.
After a successful public tender process, RAS will take over the support and maintenance of GBGB's database covering all greyhound racing in the UK and provide enhanced form and analytical products to the bookmaking and media markets.
GBGB is the governing body for all UK greyhound racing and this strategic relationship is aimed at developing and promoting the sport with innovative data and products which will appeal to to greyhound aficionados and a younger audience alike.
What service will RAS offer GBGB?
Racing And Sports (RAS), an Australian-based organisation, provides graphical speed maps and race analysis cards on its domestic greyhound racing and the intension is to introduce this type of analytical data in visual format to the United Kingdom customer.
RAS will take over the support and maintenance of the database in May 2023 and in the meantime begin preparations for a smooth transmission from the exiting provider.
Racing and Sports has expanded into the northern hemisphere and now has a UK & Europe presence, fronted by Managing Director, Brent Dolan, a well-known figure in the betting industry. RAS recently has also announced significant partnerships in the United States.
What are the executive thoughts on the partnership?
Dolan said: "Racing and Sports has a huge following in the Southern Hemisphere and it's our intension to establish the RAS brand throughout UK, Europe and USA. Over the past year we have aligned ourselves with several strategic operators and this exciting opportunity to work with GBGB to enhance the UK greyhound product is a marvellous opportunity."
"You cannot stand still in this business and we are determined to create and innovate the greyhound product in conjunction with GBGB and its promoters," Dolan further commented.
