Keepit To Yourself wins 2015 The Paslode Winter Challenge Listed $100,000 at Rosehill (NSW) 3yo+, 1500m.
Outsider Keepit To Yourself scored a good win. He worked across well in the early stages before settling nicely in third place, one off the rails. He moved up well (three deep) approaching the home turn, hit the front at the 200m and then drew clear to win in good style.
Favourite Great Esteem enjoyed a good trip in second place, challenged at the 300m and then battled on for a sound second after appearing to have every chance.
Rugged Cross travelled well in fourth place on the rails, was under pressure from the 200m and kept battling on for third being unsuited by a moderate early tempo.
Eigelstein was sixth on the rails, switched out on turning for home and fought on from there for (2.3 lengths) fourth.
Spurtonic went to the front and led the field until nearing the 200m before finishing (2.4 lengths) fifth.
You'll Never was second last in the ten-horse field to the home turn, put in a good run at the 200m and then fought on quite well for sixth, beaten two and a half lengths.
