Last year’s Miracle Mile winner Catch A Wave will round out his preparation for The Nullarbor next week when he makes his WA debut at Gloucester Park on Friday night.

Catch A Wave will stretch his legs in the Sky Racing FFA as his final hitout before the $1.25million Nullarbor but has been dealt the visitor's draw on the back row.

He is one three raiders from the east to have earned Nullarbor slots, the others being Spirit Of St Louis - who is seeking redemption after a close second in last year's inaugural The Nullarbor - and Hot And Treacherous who will be aiming to give Jason Grimson and Cameron Hart a second Nullarbor after the trainer-driver combination took out last year's race with Betterzippit.

Catch A Wave ventures west having returned to winning form in his latest outing in Victoria, leading to score by 2.2m at Melton.

He goes very well at this distance, winning two of three attempts so with even luck from the draw class can get him home.

Fellow Nullarbor contender Never Ending will look to get back into winning form before his big assignment when he lines up in the 4YO Westbred Entires & Geldings Classic on the same program.

Never Ending missed a place for the first time in his career when midfield in the Bunbury Cup last start but did have to work and is suited coming back to his own age group.

He won the G3 Preux Chevalier when first up two back, his 10th success in 12 attempts at Gloucester Park.

With the aid of a good draw and he can return to his winning ways.
