A glance at Australia's perfect winning record in day-night Test matches at Adelaide Oval.

AUSTRALIA'S PERFECT RECORD IN ADELAIDE DAY-NIGHT TESTS:-

* 2015, November 27-29: Australia beat New Zealand by three wickets.

The inaugural day-night Test was a low-scoring affair with NZ making 202 and 208 and Australia posting 224 and 7-187. Aussie wicketkeeper Peter Nevill made the game's highest score with 66 in the first innings and Josh Hazlewood's nine wickets in the match featured 6-70 in the second innings.

* 2016, November 24-27: Australia beat South Africa by seven wickets.

South Africa, with Faf du Plessis making 118 after being fined for ball tampering in the previous Test, declare at 9-259 and Australia, underpinned by Usman Khawaja's 145, reply with 383. The tourists make 250 in their second dig and the home side score 3-127 to win, with Hazlewood taking six wickets in the game.

* 2017, December 2-6: Australia beat England by 120 runs.

Shaun Marsh hits 126 in Australia's 8(dec)-442 before Nathan Lyon's 4-60 helps bowl England out for 227. The hosts, unable to counter James Anderson (5-43), make just 138 in their second innings but then bowl the Poms out for 233 with Mitchell Starc snaring 5-88.

* 2019, November 29-December 2: Australia beat Pakistan by an innings and 48 runs.

David Warner's epic 335no - the second-highest Test score by an Australian behind Matthew Hayden's 380 against Zimbabwe in 2003 - completely overshadows Marnus Labuschagne's 162 as Australia declare at 3-589. Pakistan, with Starc taking 6-66, reply with 303 and, made to follow on, are all out for 239 with Lyon claiming 5-69.

* 2020, December 17-19: Australia beat India by eight wickets.

Virat Kohli top-scores with 74 in India's 244 and Australia, with Tim Paine making 73no, reply with 191. The tourists then crash to their lowest Test score - 36 all out - as Hazlewood (5-8) and Pat Cummins (4-21) feast. India's No.11 Mohammed Shami retired hurt when struck on his right arm by a Cummins bouncer.

* 2021, December 16-20: Australia beat England by 275 runs.

Labuschagne (103), Warner (95) and stand-in skipper Steve Smith (93) are in the runs as Australia declare at 9-473. England muster 236 with Starc again prominent with 4-37. The Aussies post 9(dec)-230 and Jhye Richardson captures 5-42 to help bowl the tourists out for 192.

* 2022, December 8-11: Australia beat West Indies by 419 runs.

Travis Head (175) and Labuschagne (163) star as Australia make 7(dec)-511 and then bowl West Indies out for 214. The home side opt against employing the follow on, instead making a rapid-fire 6(dec)-199 before dismissing the tourists for a meagre 77, with Starc, Michael Neser and Scott Boland taking three wickets each.
