Cronulla will meet Penrith in next week's NRL preliminary final after a 26-18 win over North Queensland.
Braydon Trindall has led Cronulla to a preliminary final clash with Penrith after starring in his side's 26-18 win over the North Queensland Cowboys.
The Sharks will play the reigning premiers next week after Trindall ran amok at Allianz Stadium on Friday, scoring two tries and setting up another.
The semi-final loss ends the Cowboys' 2024 season and, to add insult to the defeat, departing duo Valentine Holmes and Kyle Feldt limped off with injuries in the second half.
