Covey, the exciting 3-year-old son of Frankel looked a really progressive type before today, having won impressively his past two starts. He was stepped up in class this afternoon with Frankie Dettori taking the ride, and proved he was a class above the rest in emphatic style.

Frankie Dettori insists he will not start crying just yet, as he began his final season riding in the UK in the best possible fashion when partnering Covey to an easy victory at Newmarket on Tuesday.
