Martino Alonso, the sire of Ramonti who was kidnapped from Siba Stud near Brescia in northern Italy seven months ago, has reportedly been found some 400 miles away near Naples.

Ramonti and Celtic Swing, who both stood at stud in Ireland last year, are new additions to the ranks of Italian stallions for 2010. They will join Tillerman, who will also stand his first season in Italy next year, as well as Mujahid, Denon and Distant Way, on the roster at the Societa Allevamento Besnate in Varese.

Martino Alonso, the sire of 2007 Cathay Pacific Hong Kong Cup winner Ramonti, was kidnapped from his box at the Siba Stud at Antezzate, near Brescia, Italy last Thursday night.

Schiaparelli's triumph in the Group Two Prix Kergorlay at Deauville last Sunday saw Godolphin reach a notable landmark of 500 Group/Grade and Listed race victories since the stable was established in 1994.

Sensational Dubai winner Gladiatorus is set to make his British debut for the Godolphin stable in Tuesday's Queen Anne Stakes at Royal Ascot.
