Hoss Amor warmed up for a potential tilt at next month's $1m Magic Millions Guineas with a trial win at Randwick on Monday.
The John O'Shea three-year-old finished a half-length clear of Bart Cummings' Mine To Keep with Gai Waterhouse's Celtic Sea a neck further back in third.
Hoss Amor hasn't raced since finishing fifth in the Group 3 Thoroughbred Club Stakes (1200m) on Caulfield Guineas day.
He's currently rated a $12 Magic Millions Guineas chance, on the fifth line of betting behind Sizzling, Driefontein, No Looking Back and Urban Groove.
