Racing and Sports highlight our standout plays for Australian TAB meetings on June 11.
Three TAB meetings are held across Australia on this Tuesday at Corowa, Quirindi & Pakenham.
Pakenham: Race 5 @ 2:30pm
There’s speed across the barriers and any number capable of leading. STRAVAIN (8) showed plenty of ability the first preparation and resumes in easier grade. He has to manage a wide gate, but expect her to come back further improved and go close. WRECKING BALL (10) resumes and has won 2/2 first-up. He rates well and Rawiller’s booking suggest he’s ready to go. DOCTOR COTO (2) is fast and just missed as favourite at Moe and he has more to give. He will use the low gate and is a genuine hope. LA MAESTRA (11) goes into the multiples at odds. SELECTIONS: #8 Stravain looks a bet each way at the $5.00 + available early, and is one to follow.

Corowa: Race 2 @ 12:55pm
Will scoot along in this as they usually do at this track. SWIZZLE STICKS (4) was outclassed at Sandown last start. Placing prior at Seymour reads well for this. Gets in well with the claim. Beaten a head at Moonee Valley going back to January this year. Clearly good enough and she'll take plenty of catching. TOFFEY MISS (6) resumes. Goes well under these conditions. Trained locally and should be on speed for a long way. INDICATORS ON (1) is racing for the new stable (Ex Brad Widdup). Still lightly-raced and is worth keeping safe. Large weight doesn't help. POLAR STAR (3) has trialled well for his return. Bred in the purple and if the splits appear he can figure. SELECTIONS: Swizzle Sticks for the win.
Quirindi: Race 5 @ 3:05pm
Plenty of on-pacers engaged but no standout leader. The talented SUPREME STREAK (4) has found a nice race to kick off this prep. Last raced when a distant 3rd over 1300m at Scone in late December. Won his maiden in convincing style over this course and distance early last prep. Expect he will be forward enough to run a big race. JAMAICAN DREAM (5) got back in the field and was forced to race wide when a respectable 3 lengths 7th over 1250m at Taree last start. Very fit now after three runs back - one to watch for late in proceedings. TIME OF GLORY (3) has changed stables since last prep when he was competitive at the provincials. Goes well early in the campaign and from gate one gets all the favours. KHITAAMY (6) has been about the money of late and must go in the exotics. SELECTIONS: #4 Supreme Streak to win first up.
