#8 Invincible Lucky has been knocking on the door for a win, but wide draws have proven costly in both starts of this preparation. Now drawn favourably in barrier 3, his last-start second to Boom Box—an exciting horse on the rise—reads well for this contest. #1 Sunny Da Best was a good thing beaten last time when runner-up to Sky Joy after being badly held up from the 450m to the 200m. With a clear run, he’s primed to bounce back. #6 Flying Double had barrier 13 to contend with last start and was ridden quietly before storming home into sixth, finishing strongly in the same race as Sunny Da Best. A better map is possible, but with barrier 12, he may adopt quiet tactics again. #7 Island Buddy comes out of a fast-run, strong-form race where he only faded late into sixth. His prior second-place effort was full of promise and suggests he’s one to watch.

INTERACTIVE FORM

Racing And Sports has two quality interactive form systems which you as the user can adjust to your own specific tastes and thoughts. We've detailed below how to use both the Neurals and Worksheet areas of a race guide.

Neurals

These are computer enhanced analyses of all the areas which go into making up a race field. They factor in algorithms for every contingency as explained below and added them up to generate the likely best horse in a race.

When you go into them via the Form Guide page you simply run your mouse over any column and you can sort the field by any individual type of Neural Rating which determines the final total (and therefore best rater).

Explanation of Inputs for Neural Analysis

CP Career performance assessment based on weight/class algorithms
CF Current form measured by class/weight algorithms
TIM Revolutionary time assessment (adjusted algorithm)
JA Jockey ability algorithm
TA Trainer ability algorithm
JT Jockey/trainer combination algorithm
WT Wet track performance algorithm
Crs Course suitability algorithm
D Distance suitability algorithm
$ Prizemoney earned algorithm
BP Barrier position (course & distance) algorithm
DLR Days since last run algorithm
  • The user sets the level of importance from the Preference Scale (1 to 5 or No) for each algorithm and the output weightings are listed within seconds.
  • The Neural factor analysis will quickly identify for you just who are the main chances in each race, the highest to the lowest based on the factor weightings

Chances are you’re about to lose.
