Warrnambool: Race 4; #5 Maggie's Son 

Hasn't won in 13 career starts to date and was very average last start when enjoying a soft run in transit. Will be made to work early to find a position in the first 400m which will make the gelding vulnerable late.

Hawkesbury: Race 1; #6 Literature Tycoon 

It looks quite an open race here to kick off so I am willing to take LITERATURE TYCOON on just at the price. She has had 2 reasonable runs here at this track to date and would need to be able to improve on those runs to be competitive here. Not to say she can't do that, but feel there are others here that could give her some trouble and make the even money price feel quite low.

Lismore: Race 1; #4 La Demoiselle 

Has only produced average figures to date and although this is a poor maiden race I am doubtful anything will beat Scripted in this race who has looked very good at the trials. So naturally I am happy to risk the second fave particularly at single figures.
