Dubawi and Aclaim provide the winners of this weekend's Classics in Newmarket
New Group 1 winners
49 for Dubawi
Darley's Dubawi (Dubai Millennium) sired his 49th Group 1 winner on Saturday when the Godolphin homebred Coroebus (3 c ex First Victory by Teofilo) won the 2000 Guineas (Gr 1, 1m) at Newmarket. Last seen winning the Autumn Stakes (Gr 2, 1m) at Newmarket last October, Coroebus defeated his stablemate and short-priced favourite Native Trail (Oasis Dream), who was previously unbeaten, by three quarters of a length. Coroebus is out of First Victory, a Group 3 winning half-sister to multiple Group 1 winner Thunder Snow (Helmet).

First for Aclaim
Third in the Fillies Mile (Gr 1, 1m) last season, Cachet's (3 f ex Poyle Sophie by Teofilo) victory in Sunday's 1,000 Guineas (Gr 1, 1m) at Newmarket gave Aclaim (Acclamation) his first Group 1 winner. Bought for 60,000gns by Highclere at last year's Tattersalls Craven Breeze Up Sale, and the George Boughey-trained filly has now won three of her ten career starts. Cachet is the only winner out of placed mare Poyle Sophie (Teofilo) and from the first crop of Aclaim, she is her sire's only stakes winner to date. Aclaim has sired 44 winners and three stakes placegetters and the son of Acclamation (Royal Applause) stands at the National Stud in Newmarket where his 2022 fee was advertised at £6,000.
Both the 2,000 Guineas and 1,000 Guineas winners are out of mares by Darley's Teofilo (Galileo) who has now sired three Group 1 winners as a broodmare sire.

New stakes winners
Two for Counterattack
Australian-bred stallion Counterattack (Redoute's Choice) sired his second stakes winner in as many days on Sunday when the Henk Grewe-trained See Hector (3 c ex Scouting by New Approach) won the Italian 2000 Guineas (Gr 3, 1600m) at Capannelle. On Saturday' Pirouz (3 c ex Parivash by Singspiel) became the first stakes winner for Counterattack when he won the Premio Emanuele Filiberto (Listed, 2000m) at San Siro. Counterattack, who was trained in Australia by Chris Waller, began his stud career at Kitchwin Hills before being exported to Germany where he stood at Gestut Karlshof for three years between 2018 and 2020.
91 and 92 for Frankel
Godolphin homebred With The Moonlight (3 f ex Sand Vixen by Dubawi) won Sunday's Pretty Polly Stakes (Listed, 1m2f) at Newmarket on Sunday, handing Juddmonte Farm's Frankel (Galileo) his 91st stakes winner. The Charlie Appleby-trained filly was impressive in beating Mashaaer (Muhaarar) by four and three quarter lengths on her seasonal reappearance. Frankel sired a stakes double on Sunday with Martel (3 f ex Lady Of Shamrock by Scat Daddy) winning the Prix de l' Avre (Listed, 2400m) at Longchamp, her sires 92nd stakes winner. Martel is a Wertheimer & Frere homebred and won two starts as a juvenile last year with Sunday's race her first this season. Frankel is firing at a rate of 11.7% stakes winners to runners with his 92 stakes winners headed by 20 Group 1 winners.

93 for Holy Roman Emperor
Former Aquis Farm shuttler Holy Roman Emperor (Danehill) sired his 93 stakes winner when Swipe Up (3 f ex Salmon Rose by Iffraaj) won the 1000 Guineas (Gr 3, 1600m) at Capannelle on Sunday. After racing towards the rear of the field, Swipe Up took the lead with 300 metres left to run and then pulled five lengths clear of Nonna Ercolina – another daughter of Holy Roman Emperor. Holy Roman Emperor, who shuttled to Australia for eight seasons between 2007 and 2018, is now based at Castle Hyde Stud in Ireland where his fee in 2022 was advertised at €10,000. His leading earner is the Hong Kong multiple Group 1 winner Designs On Rome.
44 for Kingman
Mrs Fitzherbert (4 f ex Stupendous Miss by Dyanformer) added some valuable black type in Saturday's Conqueror Fillies' Stakes (Listed, 1m) at Goodwood, becoming the 44th stakes winner for Juddmonte's Kingman (Invincible Spirit). Kingman has four crops of racing age and his five-time Group 1 winning son Palace Pier will shuttle to Darley's Kelvinside farm for the first time this year.

37 for Manduro
The late Manduro (Monsun) sired stakes winner number 37 on Sunday when The Good Man (5 h ex So Good by Galileo) won the Prix de Barbeville (Gr 3, 3100m) at Longchamp. Manduro, who was formerly based at Haras du Logis, died at the age of 18 in 2020.
Six for Twilight Son
Toimy Son (3 c ex Miss Pimpernel by Clodovil) captured the Prix du Pont Neuf (Listed, 1400m) at Longchamp on Sunday, becoming stakes winner number six for Twilight Son (Kyllachy). Based at Cheveley Park Stud in Newmarket, Twilight Son has three crops of racing age.
Three for Zarak
Lavello (3 c ex Laura by Montjeu) handed young sire Zarak (Dubawi) his third stakes winner when he scored a three quarter length victory in Sunday's Bavarian Classic (Gr 3, 2000m) at Munich. Zarak stands at Haras de Bonneval in France where his fee in 2022 was set at €25,000 and Lavello is from his sire's first crop.
