Japan recently issued temporary licences to four overseas jockeys.

Hollie Doyle and Tom Marquand until 14th January, Rachel King until 4th May and Aurelien Lemaitre until 24 February.

Rachel King was aboard Sakura Toujours at Chukyo in the G3 Sports Nippon Sho Kyoto Kimpai over 1600m.  It was a very tight finish with only a neck separating the first three home but it was Rachel and Sakura Toujours (12.0) who prevailed with Water Licht second and Logi Leon third.
