Singapore racing best bets, race by race analysis looking at the full Singapore card on Friday the 30th of November with selections and information on all the main contenders.
RACE 1
IN BOCCA AL LUPO (5) - They had an easier time at Bletchley Park cracking the Enigma code than one has of finding the first race winner here. In a race with a total winning strike rate of only 6%, it might be worth siding with this mare. Judged on her best course and distance form, she should go close.
MIRACLE WEI WEI (6) - Ran a career best thus far when last seen (in front of In Bocca Al Lupo), needs to back that up here but does have the assistance of Olivier Placais, which is a huge plus.
FIGHTING WARRIOR (4) - Was 11th last start in a race where the first 11 home were covered by only 2 _ lengths. That is questionable form but he can make an impact here on best.
STAR KING (3) - Now downgraded and should be considered for the quartet.
RACE 2
STREET PARTY (2) - Has not raced since September 28 but this three-year-old does possess good ability. From the good draw, he should hold a nice position and if the horse parades forward enough in condition, will take plenty of beating.
BOY NEXT DOOR (1) - Comes into this race off two nice trials. Showed promise last preparation and looks ready to go here. Has form around the likes of Revolution and Bold Thruster. Hard to beat.
SALAMENCE (10) - Was a better run first-up than it appears on paper. Ran out of room in the straight after sitting up on a fast speed. Kept making ground near the line and can improve here. Should be value.
LINCOLN MOONLIGHT (3) - Is drawn a bit awkwardly but with Vlad Duric on board should also be respected. Third behind Ararat Lady last time - that form looks solid enough for this.
RACE 3
PENNYWISE (2) - Polytrack specialist who can certainly enhance his record here with another bold display.
QUARTER BACK (6) - Good run in the Saas Fee Stakes when fourth to Bold Thruster. Back on the Polytrack here and looks sure to suit him well. Gets Vlad Duric for assistance.
REVOLUTION (10) - Another who adores this all-weather surface and did win a trial recently in 62.10 in preparation for this task.
WONDERFUL (1) - Useful on his day and now finds himself down in grade and could be dangerous at odds.
RACE 4
JK FORMIDABLE (8) - A nice third on debut behind the useful Jomo (who has won two since) and behind him were both I'm Incredible (fourth) and Thomas De Lago (fifth). His form is by far the best on show and should prove very hard to beat.
KING COBRA (1) - Outran his big odds last time out when staying on nicely to take third in a closing sectional of 22.39 behind I'm Incredible on the turf. Should progress and must be included here.
RENNAL (9) - Had six trials in New Zealand for two wins and his trials here have been very respectable and starts off in a realistic race to make an impact of sorts.
LOOKS GOOD (2) - Has a bit of place form and looks a top four contender.
RACE 5
MARINE TREASURE (2) - Flew home last time out in the race won by Maximus in 23.23 and this time around is better drawn to go forward. These conditions suit him well. Big chance.
BIRAZ (5) - Now in slightly calmer waters having run fourth in the Garden City Trophy when last seen. A nice type on his day and boosts a decent record on the Polytrack.
AUTUMN RUSH (1) - A couple of placings behind the top pick last time they met and will get a handy three-kilo off here with Simon Kok Wei Hoong's claim. Should run a very nice race.
FIRST CHOICE (9) - Has some nice form off marks in the high 60s this term and is a course and distance winner to boot. Could add some value to make the frame.
RACE 6
WHIZZY WALTZZY (4) - The extra distance should really suit this Leticia Dragon-trained galloper on the back of some sound efforts over 1600m of late and in a race in which a visit to the winner's circle is as frequent as Christmas for most of these. He looks a good bet.
DREAM BIG (2) - His only win has been in a slightly better grade over 2000m. He would have to be given a strong chance in this low-grade affair.
DANGER ZONE (1) - This eight-year-old has won three more races than most of this field and the return to Class 5 will help matters but he does have a big weight and that is a concern for a horse of his capability.
GANNET (3) - Not the most reliable at times but should appreciate the step-up in distance.
RACE 7
ENCHANTED MISTER (8) - Returns to the scene of the crime where he won his lone race in Singapore. Well suited over the track/distance and is well drawn to be hard on the speed. Will take catching.
LORD OF CLOUD (5) - Doesn't appear ideally suited stepping back in trip but is well drawn to take up a handy spot. Hard to knock on recent efforts and finds conditions to suit yet again. Major player.
CHALAZA (1) - Experienced campaigner who has been struggling to win in recent times but will find this assignment significantly easier. Will take benefit from the good alley and will appreciate Michael Rodd taking over the reins. Chance.
BOY WONDER (7) - Returns after a four-month layoff. Isn't ideally drawn but is a versatile customer and gets the services of the leading rider in Vlad Duric. Has only had the one trial leading into this. So, monitor parade.
RACE 8
CLASSIFIED (1) - Racing well now and might be overdue another success for the in-form Bruce Marsh and the booking of champion jockey Vlad Duric catches the eye.
DRONE (7) - Unseated Alysha Collett last time out and has since finished fourth in a trial. He is one of two three-year-olds in the race and judged on overall form, he still has more progression in him. Every chance.
BEST WISHES (2) - Draw not ideal but looks capable of running a good race here and the extra 100m is no negative either.
DECRETO (3) - A three-time course and distance winner and is only two points higher than his latest of them in July. Close market watch is advised.
