Australian thoroughbred TAB meetings are today held at Queanbeyan, Tamworth, Mildura and Ipswich.

QUEANBEYAN: RACE 4 @ 1:55 PM

RESURRECTED (5) returned from a four-month spell last start with a respectable third over 1350m at Wyong. Placed 5/8 in better maidens than this. Neasham has pulled the right rein coming here and he should be opening the account. ANGEL OF SPRING (10) filled a minor placing for the second start in a row when a safely held third over 1400m at Albury last time out. Rock hard fit and sure to make her presence felt with the aid of the inside gate. DEVGRU (3) continues to race well but is now 18 runs without a win. Closed impressively to get up for third most recently over this trip at Moruya. Will be running on again. CASTERLY ROCK (2) for Waterhouse/Bott is back from a 29-week spell. Failed to flatter in two runs to date, both in Victoria. Each-way hope. ROCAS GRANDES (6) ran a better race at Goulburn last start and should enjoy getting to this trip for the first time.
SELECTIONS: Confident Resurrected can break the ice here.

TAMWORTH: RACE 7 @ 4:10 PM

TO BE FRANK (3) having his first start for the Sue Grills yard after coming up from Victoria. Made up good ground late from the outside draw when a sound fifth over 1500m at Ballarat Synthetic on May 21. Will appreciate the 3kg claim and take stopping from the low gate in this weak affair. ZAHDI (6) down in weight and class for this after being used up early before tiring late when fifth over 1300m at Scone on June 23. Ready for this trip now and stays in the mix. NO MORE ROMANCE (4) improving gelding who's returned in good order this prep. Broke his maiden status two-back before running on late when third over 1200m here on July 5. Finally draws a decent gate and expected to race closer. Genuine contender. INVINCIBLE RED (8) close to his top for this third-up after finishing a plugging eighth over 1280m at Muswellbrook on June 17. Kept fresh and undefeated on his home track.
SELECTIONS: To Be Frank to win.

MILDURA: RACE 3 @ 2:00 PM

JOON HO (3) was hard in the market on resumption at Ballarat but perhaps didn't handle the heavy surface, beaten five lengths into fifth. That was the first time he's missed a place in six starts and his form last time in reads very well for this. THE CREED (7) ran a good race last start at Gawler on wet ground, beaten half a length in second. Three starts back he was solid in third at this track. Chance. MONTARI (4) is a 24-start maiden who was well beaten last start at Murray Bridge. The first-up run at Warracknabeal was quite good and a return to that form has him in the mix. REGAL MOSHE (5) perhaps next best.
SELECTIONS: Joon Ho to win.

IPSWICH: RACE 1 @ 9:17 AM

The babies kick us off. SHOWS A SIGN (1) absolutely smashed them over this track and trip when resuming before getting the job done again at the Sunshine Coast last time out. Sure to be high on confidence following back-to-back victories and can make it three in a row here. SHE'S PUSHY (3) has placed over this course and distance and will strip fitter second-up from the spell. Has race experience over a few of these and may make her presence felt. SHE OURS (8) is facing the starter for the first time but has shown plenty of ability winning both trials to date and any market support must be noted. BEST COFFEE (4) tried to lead all the way here last start and should appreciate the drop back in distance. Top-three conveyance. SHARALANDA (7) next best.
SELECTIONS: Shows A Sign to win again.
