Rosehill Gardens plays host to ten solid Benchmark races, with some exciting prospects taking on Saturday grade for the first time.
Heading to Race 7, Captivant @Kia Ora BM78 Handicap (1300m), where the James Cummings-trained Drift Net comes up as our best bet.
The four-year-old mare stepped out to the 1400m for the first time this preparation when looking to have the race parcelled up inside the 200m last Saturday, before throwing it away late when third to Redbreast.
Drift Net has clearly pleased the Godolphin camp this week and James Cummings has had little hesitation to send her around again over her preferred distance of 1300m.
Tommy Berry rides again from the good barrier and expect to see her stalk Infatuation from the jump and assert her authority late.
Hovering around the $3.30 mark, she looks good value with a distinct fitness edge over most of her rivals.
Our next best comes up in the TAB BM78 Handicap (2000m), with the frustrating Bullets High.
The Joe Pride-trained stayer is also on the quick back-up after getting too far back last Saturday when finishing off late over the 1800m to run a close-up fifth.
Tomorrow, Nash Rawiller hops back aboard and expect to see him race a little closer to the speed and relish the 2000m.
Bullets High has been crunched in betting since markets went up on Wednesday, and is currently sitting around the $2.80 quote.
