Pretty Pins grabbed a dominant win in the Chairman's Handicap at Doomben.
Pretty Pins was eased across from her outside barrier (13) and settled in a good spot, ninth on the rails. She got a good inside run coming to the home turn and moved through to be second on turning for home.
She took the lead at the 200m and then drew away to win comfortably by two lengths. It was an excellent ride by Ryan Wiggins.
The British import Danchai ($1.90 fav) was sixth one off the rails to the 600m before moving up wide from that point. He went to fourth nearing the 200m and kept making ground to finish second, being unsuited by a moderate early tempo, being a sprint home from the 600m (leaders running 34.39).
Brave Ali led the field, setting a moderate pace (first 1400m 1:28.51) and held the lead until half-way down the straight before finishing (2.5 lengths) third.
The NZ-trained Lauren Tate was fifth on the rails, switched into the clear rounding the home turn and kept battling on fairly well for (2.7 lengths) fourth.
Heartfelt Quest made ground along the rails from near last at the 600m for fifth while top weight Zennista (59kg) was past midfield, went very wide from 600m and battled on in the sprint home for (5.3 lengths) sixth.
