A clever ride by Tegan Harrison see's The Inventor home in the Group 3 Tattersall's Cup at Eagle Farm on June 7.

The Inventor was rated well in front by Tegan Harrison, who enjoyed an easy run on the lead in the middle stages of the race.

He quickened approaching the home turn and broke clear before fighting on gamely the whole way to the line to hold on in a very game effort to score.

Wish Come True came from fifth one of the fence with a trail. He loomed up three wide on straightening and came with a strong run to only go under narrowly, a good effort.

Third-placed Pretty Pins enjoyed a nice run in sixth position on the fence. She stayed to the fence on cornering and finished on soundly never threatening the first two despite a sound effort.
