2015 Hutchinson Builders Qld Cup Listed July 4 - Sunshine Coast

3 minute read

Mister Impatience wins 2015 Hutchinson Builders Qld Cup Listed $150,000 at Sunshine Coast (QLD), 3200m.

British-bred Mister Impatience put up a solid staying performance to win, albeit narrowly. He enjoyed a good trip in third place one the rails, went to second on turning for home and ran on in dour fashion to grab a last stride win.

Pop 'N' Scotch travelled well in sixth place, one off the rails. He moved up strongly on passing the 800m, hit the front approaching the home turn and looked the winner when he raced clear at the 300m, only to be headed right on the post for second in a gutsy performance.

Monaco Doll was eighth, one off the rails. She tracked up nicely (wide with cover) from the 700m, got to fourth at the home turn and then battled on hold a distant third.

Favourite Major Major raced outside the leader (Lovethebeaches), went to the front at the 600m but was under pressure rounding the home turn and then batted on to finish (13 lengths) fourth.
