Sea Lord wins 2015 Mss Security Sprint Listed $150,000 at Flemington (VIC), 1200m.
Sea Lord settled in a good spot from barrier three in fourth place (on the rails side), following a good pace. He got through on the inner to take the lead at the 200m and was untroubled from that point to score well.
Gregers was a close-up third, briefly got to the front at the 300m but was headed shortly afterwards and then battled well for second.
The Monstar shared the lead on the Grandstand side, got the better of that group in the closing stages and did well to come with a late turn to grab a very good third.
Sarajevo was back behind the leading group (on the rails side) about seventh, got through to third at the 100m and kept fighting on, just missing the minor placing in the last few strides in finishing (3.3 lengths) fourth.
Favourite Kuro was about seventh (in the rails side group), eased into clear running at the 200m but battled from that point for (5.1 lengths) fifth.
