Royal Melbourne has reclaimed its place atop the list of Australia's best golf courses.
The club's West Course topped Australian Golf Digest's biennial list of the country's top 100 courses for the first time.
The Composite Course had topped every list up until 2010, when the honour went to Kingston Heath, which hosted the 2009 Australian Masters won by Tiger Woods.
However, Royal Melbourne returned to the top of the latest rankings to be published on Wednesday, relegating Kingston Heath to second ahead of Ellerston (NSW), Barnbougle Dunes (Tasmania) and Sydney's NSW Golf Club.
