Really like this race and certainly think it is one of the more competitive races of the meeting. At the price, I am happy to take the risk on favourite PRIVATE HARRY, who while impressive so far into his career, will need to take a step up here again to be winning this.
He does get the right race map so do give him some hope, but facing strong runners like THE BLADE & MANUSCRIPT makes it a tougher assignment to any race he has seen so far early into his career.
Rosehill: Race 8; #7 Imintowin
He won well first-up but there is an asterisk on it. He had the race shape and pattern of the day to suit, the first two into the home straight filled the quinella. He'll be asked to cross over from the awkward draw but there is speed drawn inside. He can win and should be included in the quaddie, but he's too short at his current quote ($2.60).
I thought Sure had every possible hope at Caulfield last start behind Ruakaka Raider. I think he might be a horse who is better earlier in his preparation and with possible map issues, I can't profile any improvement for him at all.
HARNESS
This horse has a great career record but the set-up tonight is a tough ask. Don't think he can lead & comes up against some fit and fast horses.
