Caulfield: Race 8; #10 Hawkins 

He was impressive winning his maiden last start at Seymour over the mile where he did beat a subsequent winner in Broadhurst, but this is a fair step up in grade. He goes straight into a metro Benchmark 64 and is taking on some seasoned older horses. He's the fresh blood, and he was strong through the line last start, but this could come too soon for him.

GREYHOUNDS

Sandown Park: Race 1; #1 Stormy Neo 

This map looks very topsy turvy with some wide runners drawn the inside boxes. But then there's no confidence on the wide runners getting across cleanly either. However, given Stormy Neo is likely to want to get to the outside, I can see him finding a ton of trouble here and is unlikely to be suited by Box 1.

Sandown Park: Race 5; #8 Zodiac Bale 

Zodiac Bale was brilliant at Geelong last start but she is still going to find it hard to cross off the dreaded Box 8 at this venue. Slay Queen Molly and El Crimp Adore can show reliable early pace and will be very tough to navigate going into the first turn.

Wentworth Park: Race 4; #4 Wellness 

4 is a very nice bitch but may find a couple of these too nippy early. 1 and 6 can go like the wind early and should set up a race winning lead. Risking 4
