RACE 3: (4) FELL SWOOPhis Canberra-trained sprinter is a real talent who again looks well placed to extend his record to six wins from eight starts. Made up for a luckless first-up defeat when he was far too good for his rivals over 1100m at Rosehill on August 2, trouncing subsequent Randwick winner Inz’N’Out by three lengths. He’s back to 1000m but gets the benefit of a soft inside draw and 2kg less weight. Should soon be winning in black type company.

RACE 5 (11) BOLD CIRCLE: Banking on the Fell Swoop form to stand up as I really liked the way this great looker came back from a spell with an eye-catching third over 1100m at Rosehill on August 2 in a proven form race. He drops 2kg in weight over this more suitable distance and expect him to close off strongly off a strong pace as several rivals appear certain to push for the lead early. Good value in an open race.

RACE 6 (6) BOSS L:ANE Lining up for his third straight win since resuming and while he rises to a Group 3 company this race could pan out very well for him if his rider Tim Clark elects to avoid what appears to be a certain speed battle between in the first 400m. Boasts a super record of three wins on his home track over this distance and can certainly add to that droping a handy 4.5kg off his latest win over 100om at this course two weeks ago.
