ROSEHILL SATURDAY
RACE 4 (5) NEW UNIVERSE: Expecting this former Kiwi 3YO to make an impact at his Sydney debut for Chris Waller. Excellent reports about his Impressive wins at his first two starts over 1200m in the late spring and joined Waller after running well in a strong open company 3YO at Ellerslie in December. He had an easy trial at Rosehill in February and suspect the plan has been to keep him fresh for a race of this class on a good track after the carnival. Willing to gamble that he is above average.RACE 8 (11) TORPENHOW: Has carried high expectations since he started racing and has delivered in part with two wins and two placings from his five starts and will be hard to beat in this company if anywher4e near the form he displayed before spelling. Has been well prepared for his return from his lengthy break by two soft trials and happy to gamble on the map of this race as it points to him getting a kind run with cover before unleashing.
RACE 9 (4): BONNY O’REILLY: Promising mare has shown high potential recording four wins from her first six starts including a victory at her only start at this course. She’s been flying in her trials and was very sharp in her most recent at Warwick Farm when she cruised in the lead and was throttled down to win with plenty in the tank. Has the right draw and track conditions to make a successful return.BLACKBOOK UPDATE
