James Cummings and the Godolphin team seem eager to win the first race at Wednesday's Warwick Farm meeting, which has a name to promote a stallion that Sheikh Mohammed has invested plenty of faith in either side of the equator.

The 1000-metre event for two-year-old fillies is called the Pinatubo First Yearlings Handicap, with Pinatubo a multiple Group 1-winning son of Shamardal who shuttles between Europe and Darley's Hunter Valley stud.

Cummings, who is Sheikh Mohammed's head trainer in Australia, has four of the seven debutants engaged, all of whom are related to horses who carried the royal blue with distinction.

Sphere is by Bivouac out of Circular, which makes her a three-quarter-sister to Cylinder, the Newmarket Handicap winner and Golden Slipper runner-up who stood his first season at stud this year.

Tempted is by Street Boss out of the Magic Night Stakes and Gimcrack Stakes winner Calliope, a daughter of Exceed And Excel whose first foal was dual Group 2 winner Kallos.

Lipstick and Daphnes are also by Street Boss, the latter being the first foal from dual Listed winner Athiri, who is a half-sister to Group 1 Savatiano and Aleppo Pine, who was a brilliant debut winner at Ballarat earlier this month.

Accoutrements is the dam of Lipstick with that Exceed And Excel mare a sister to Caulfield Guineas winner Helmet and a half-relation to Epaulette, Bullbars and Pericles being out of the mare Accessories.

Tempted, who has the services of Zac Loyd and barrier two, is the shortest-priced of the Godolphin team at $2.40, which is the second line of betting behind the Gai Waterhouse and Adrian Bott-trained Satin's Legacy, who is a half-sister to I Am Unstoppable by King's Legacy.

Daphnes (Kerrin McEvoy, barrier seven) holds down the $5.50 second line of betting with Lipstick (Jason Collett, six) and Sphere (Josh Parr, one) both $16 chances.
