Not for the first time, James Harron has won a bidding duel for Satin Love.

The daughter of Snitzel was the highest-priced mare of the Inglis Digital August (Early) Sale after Harron won the day with a final bid of $560,000.

It was the second time Harron has outbid all rivals for the four-year-old, going to $800,000 for Satin Love as a yearling at Magic Millions.

Harron raced Satin Love with partners including Belinda Bateman, Rob Love and Arrowfield Stud with the mare offered to dissolve the partnership and Harron said she had immense appeal, being in-foal to versatile stallion Maurice.

"I've got a lot of confidence buying mares I've had a connection with all the way through from a yearling and this is a mare who has really continued to develop and blossom,'' Harron said.

"She's due to foal down her Maurice in the next fortnight and then we'll make a decision as to who she visits next."

Satin Love was one of eight six-figure lots of Inglis's first digital sale of the new racing season with the second top lot being this year's Listed Centaurea Stakes third placegetter Warm Smile, who was bought by Bulla Thoroughbreds for $350,000.

A daughter of New Approach, Warm Smile is out of the Dubawi mare Adoringly, who like nine-time Group 1 winner Anamoe is a product of Group 1 winner Anamato.

Other highlight lots included last year's Queensland Oaks third placegetter Le Villi (Puccini), who sold to Australian Bloodstock for $150,000, and four-year-old Not A Single Doubt gelding West Of Africa, who went to Annabel Neasham for $145,000.

The August (Early) Sale grossed $3,860,200 with attention now turning to late August sale, where three-time Group-winning Tavistock mare Flying Mascot is being offered as a breeding prospect.
