The warm and sunny weather will put a different complexion on English racing this weekend.

Wit much of the focus over in Ireland this weekend, the best of the UK races is the Temple Stakes at Haydock, a G2 over 1000m with a field of 13 to run.

International traveler Sole Power is 3/1. and of course won this last year. Bated Breath is at 10/3. Tangerine Trees, the surprise Prix de l'Abbaye winner last year is at 13/2 but we have some reservations, and will be tempted by Monsieur Joe on 10/1, second in a recent G3 at Longchamp, and Confessional who got a very gutsy win at Chester and looks very tempting on 33/1.
