Having won his first two starts Justin Milano added the Satsuki Sho to his win tally.

Not only that he did it in record time, defeating our "roughie" Cosmo Kuranda by a neck with Jantar Mantar third.  Justin Milano has Aussie connections through his dam who was a daughter of Exceed and Excel and a good horse in her own right.

Meisho Taberu set a fast pace which he was unable to maintain and finished at the wrong end of the field.  Favourite Regaleira was dropped back to the rear of the field but with the fast pace of the race was too far back to have a chance at overhauling the winner despite a very fast finish leaving her at sixth.
