Racing and Sports highlight our standout plays at Australian TAB meetings for December 07.
Major metropolitan meetings are today held at Rosehill, Eagle Farm and Morphettville Parks.
ROSEHILL: RACE 7 @ 4:00 PM
DRIFT NET (7) fourth-up for this on the quick back-up and looks hard to hold out in this easier contest. Sat on the good tempo in the soft (7) going and had the race shot to bits before finishing a narrow third to Redbreast over 1400m here last Saturday. Drop in trip suits and maps well. Hard to hold out. DEMIANA (6) returned in good order with the 58kg before peaking on her run late when second over 1250m at Canterbury on November 15. Will keep improving and she has excellent second-up stats. Stays in the mix. INFATUATION (1) went out fast with the 60.5kg second-up when a fading sixth over 1200m at Kembla Grange on November 23. Has a good record over this course and trip and will appreciate the 3kg weight drop. Big improver. CATAHOULA (11) had mixed luck in Victoria at her last two outings and returns to Sydney hard fit. Gave her all late when back in grade for a fighting second over 1400m at Bendigo on November 13. Don't dismiss.
SELECTIONS: Drift Net to win.

EAGLE FARM: RACE 1 @ 1:13 PM
There are some well-related gallopers amongst these babies. LOCKYER (1) (half to G2 winner Strasbourg) was well supported here on debut but just ran into one better. Will have taken a stack of benefit from that day at the races and where there's smoke there's fire. Looks very hard to toss. FORMULA ROSSA (9) (half to Listed winner and G1 placed Hypothetical) wasn't too far away when facing the starter for the first time and the extra furlong here should suit. Serious threat. MORTAL HALO (4) (full to G1 winner Port Lockroy) has shown ability at the trials and any push in betting should be noted. COOL ARCHIE (3) wasn't disgraced at Doomben and has since been given time to furnish. In the mix. MR DEMOCRAT (5) next in line from the Bruce barn.
SELECTIONS: Lockyer to break through.
MORPHETTVILLE PARKS: RACE 4 @ 2:37 PM
PURE BLISS (6) was a smart winner fresh at headquarters when scoring with a bit up her sleeve. Nowhere near as effective last start at Moonee Valley but did pull up with excuses. Will be nearing her peak now and is expected to bounce back sharply. MY RUBY (3) returns and is a two-time winner fresh. Is a distance specialist and gets key booking in hot-hand hoop in Nunes. Can make a bright return. ROCKSTAR MEGGSY (1) has savaged the line in all three runs back. Query with her dropping back in trip fourth-up and the inside alley could put her in a very tricky spot but she has to be taken seriously. MISLUDI (8) arrived just in time to score a deserved success here last month. Drops back in trip four weeks between runs and is another to look out for charging late. Lightly raced five-year-old JAZZ AFFAIR (4) returns and warrants a market watch. Late support needs to be respected.
SELECTIONS: Pure Bliss to win.
