Royal Randwick plays host to this year's final feature race in NSW with the running of the Group 2 The Ingham (1600m), with a capacity field of twenty runners engaged.

Our best comes up in Race 5, the restricted Listed Inglis Nursery (1000m) for two-year-olds, with the promising Bjorn Baker-trained Within The Law.

The exciting daughter of Lucky Vega out of Dundeel mare Contract Signed was purchased by Darby Racing for the bargain price of $30,000 at the Classic Yearling sale earlier this year.

She rewarded her owners with a massive pay day first-up ($302,000), when taking out the two-year-old Inglis race over (1000m) on the final day of the Flemington carnival.  

Within The Law showed maturity on that occasion when sitting off the solid tempo early, before rounding them up strongly inside the final 50m with plenty in hand, scoring a decisive 1.25 length victory.

She has since been fitted with a recent trial over 900m when not asked to do much at Canterbury on December 3. With race experience on her side, she can sit off the good tempo and assert her authority late in this fairly even contest.

The current $2.80 on offer looks great value with Jason Collett aboard.

Our next best comes up in Race 9, the Listed Racing And Sports Razor Sharp Handicap (1200m), with the Michael Freedman-trained Moravia.

The underrated Snitzel Gelding finished behind the classy Ostraka on two occasions earlier in the preparation and maps to get the gun run tomorrow off a freshen-up. 

Fitted with a recent 902m trial win, he looks set to add some more black type to his CV at around the $4.80 quote.
