Race 1:  MCA POLYTRACK HANDICAP (1,400m)

PRECIOUS GOD (2) found the right race and got the job done as favourite at Pinjarra nearly 2 weeks ago and with that experience under her belt, she can kick right on with the job. RIVETING ROSIE (3) let down nicely to score on debut at Pinjarra 18 days ago over 1300m and the extra 100m won't be an issue. A good draw and a small field will make her hard to beat again. WHO SAZ YES (5) capped off a couple of strong efforts to open her season with a big maiden win at Bunbury last time out when arriving in time from near last to score by a neck. Go again. QUAGMIRE (1) will improve second up and VIVA MARCONI (4) is getting better with racing. Both are not without top 3 chances in a 5-horse field.

Race 2:  WITTENS IRRIGATION & DESIGN HANDICAP (1,000m)

CHOP SUEY (2) resumed with a hard-fought neck win at Pinjarra-Scarpside nearly 3 weeks ago. He is a lot stronger this season and he won't find this field much harder so stick with him. On top. ROCKING GEM (4) ended her last campaign with a well-deserved win and then franked a trial win with an easy all-the-way victory here last week. She has the pole position and can continue on her winning way, especially with 2kg less to carry. ALOT OF ROSES (6) needed her fresh-up run on this track and then put it all together to score by over 2 lengths at Pinjarra nearly 2 weeks ago. She has scope and is another who won't be in this grade for much longer. CATCH THE RED EYE (3) is dropping in grade from his last 2 starts and should be right in the finish this time. FAMOUS JURNEY (1) will be peaking third up and ready to show some worthwhile form.

Race 3:  LIBERTIES INSURANCE MAIDEN (1,000m)

VAIN UNIVERSE (8) ran on gamely down the straight course at Pinjarra on debut and finished runner-up. She will be better for the experience and with the natural improvement that is expected, she can go one better. CAP CAVOUR (2) is another who made up a lot of ground last start when finishing third here 4 weeks ago. He is a lot stronger this year and won't be in this grade for long. NICCIMOTA (9) was a big trial winner before finishing fifth here when resuming from a spell. She led up and needed the run that day and won't have any fitness concerns this time. Stick with her. SNOW GOD (6) has improved in each of his 3 public trials and will be ready to rumble on his debut. Use the markets as your guide. REGGIO CALABRIA (3) is racing his way into full fitness and has the winkers back on. Include in all combinations.

Race 4:  DRUMMOND GOLF HANDICAP (1,600m)

CHOUX SHOE (5) overcame a wide gate and got in the deciding final stride to score by a nose at Pinjarra nearly a fortnight ago. That effort made up for an unlucky effort fresh up and from a superior gate with an extra 100m to travel, she can take the next step immediately. ROYAL SPLENDOUR (9) needed her fresh-up run on this track and has had no luck in a couple of subsequent runs. The mile will suit and she can figure in the top 3 this time. TROOPER PHOENIX (1) was only a head back from the winner when resuming before racing in tight quarters last week and finishing midfield. The blinkers are off and Kate Pateman is back in the saddle to replace an apprentice. Don't drop him. SHEEZA SHEILA (3) was beaten by a wide gate at Pinjarra last time out. She will be peaking third up and ready to put her best hoof forward. PROPORTRAIT (7) has yet to fire this prep and has the blinkers back on for the first time this season. A form reversal would be no surprise.

Race 5:  TABtouch - HAVE YOU GOT THE TOUCH HANDICAP (1,200m)

RAPID ROCK (1) was beaten by a wide gate here in his penultimate start and then gave a good kick when just missing out by a nose at Pinjarra last time out. He benefits from a 3kg claim this time and is the likely leader. He is overdue for another win and can take them all the way this time. AT YOUR SERVICE (9) has been a late scratching at the barriers since her last start second at Pinjarra 18 days ago and if she has not missed any work, she will be hard to hold out. THERMOSPHERE LAD (6) worked hard in the running fresh up when finishing third and has a superior gate this time. He strips fitter and can take this out. REPEATER (4) just lasted by a nose when winning his maiden at Bunbury 3 starts back before finishing a narrow third after that and then running fifth last time out. Stick with him. THINK QUICK (11) should have finished closer than sixth here 4 weeks ago. She will be peaking third up and should be motoring home. Watch for her late. Each-way value.

Race 6:  UNITE RESOURCING HANDICAP (1,400m)

TACTICS (11) was a well-deserved winner here 2 starts back when leading all the way to score by well over 2 lengths. He fought hard to run fourth as favourite on this track 11 days ago and drops down in class for this assignment. Hard to beat again. THE KING'S UNCLE (5) came home with a rush to finish over the top of his rivals to score by half-a-length at Pinjarra. He is in a good space and won't find this much harder. Go again. JUSTAMIDDY (7) has not won for some time but was only a head back from the winner in second place here last week. He will be peaking third up and should be a lot stronger this season. Stick with him. BATTLE COMMANDER (4) has had a couple of starts in stronger company to start this season and was a brave third here 11 days ago when peaking on his run late. Each-way value in this. PLAYING QUEST (8) raced too keenly without cover at Bunbury last time out and will be ridden a lot more quietly this time. He is capable on his day and can bounce back.

Race 7:  GLENROY CHAFF HANDICAP (2,200m)

CANDLELIGHT SHERIF (3) capped off some good form with a big win at Bunbury in his penultimate start before fighting on bravely for a midfield finish in a tougher contest here just over 3 weeks ago. He is much better placed at this level and despite the weight rise, he is the one to beat. PLAY FAIR (13) drew out to score a soft maiden win at Narrogin 2 starts back and then battled on strongly when running fourth here last week. The extra 600m is ideal and he can figure in the top 3. SANTA BRAE (2) is usually thereabouts at this level and kicked on resolutely in tight quarters when finishing sixth here 11 days ago in a better-quality field. Stick with him, even from a wide gate. INTERVENTION (9) is racing her way into full fitness and has not missed a cheque in 2 starts over this trip. She is ready to put her best hoof forward. Each-way value. ADMIRED (8) has been out of form and drops down in class here. He is not the worst at some big value.
