Race 1: STUDCO HANDICAP (1000m)

DESERT WHISPER (2) set a strong clip in front when resuming here 18 days ago and faded late, finishing near the rear. Both of her career wins have been over this shorter trip and from the pole position, she will be very hard to peg back. On top at this level. ANOTHER LOVE (3) made all the running when winning her debut out of her class at Belmont and then was put aside after her next start there in a tougher field than what she meets here. She has had a tune-up trial and is expected to make a positive start to this prep. Hard to beat. NORTH FACE (1) has come back from his spell a lot stronger and broke through for a well-deserved maiden win at Bunbury 10 days ago over 1200m. He drops down to 1000m but has the winkers back on to help keep him sharp. Each way value. ZIPPY ZANY (7) did a lot wrong but was still too strong for her maiden rivals at Bunbury last time out. She cops a wide gate this time but can still figure in the top 3. Include in all combinations.

Race 2: TABtouch - HAVE YOU GOT THE TOUCH HANDICAP (1000m)

NATURAL GEM (7) managed to win her maiden at her third start during her initial prep and will be resuming from a spell with a recent trial win at Belmont under her belt. She meets the right sort of field and will be hard to hold out. KIA ORA TATOU (3) won fresh up last prep at Northam and was set to resume last month but was a late scratching. He has a couple of solid trials under his belt and with the blinkers on for the first time, he will be ready to run a big race. ROCKING GEM (4) ended her last prep as an easy maiden winner at Northam and will be resuming here as a much stronger mare. She won a Lark trial at the end of last year and will with the advantage of the pole position, she can make her presence felt fresh up. WEAPONS HOT (2) was an overdue maiden winner in his penultimate start at York before producing a solid effort for sixth down the straight course at Pinjarra last time out. He is worth including in all combinations.

Race 3: MCA POLYTRACK MAIDEN (1800m)

EXTRA ZERO (5) is edging closer towards his first win and showed a lot of courage when setting the pace at Bunbury last start and finishing runner-up after being overhauled late. He is the likely leader again and could take them all the way this time. BROWN MORN (1) needed his resuming run in a stronger maiden field here 18 days ago and is much better placed over a middle-distance second-up here. He cops a wide gate but should finish a lot closer. Each way value. SAIL SESSION (7) charged home late when finding space late at Bunbury nearly 3 weeks ago, finishing third and only a head back from the winner. The step up to 1800m third up is ideal and he should be among the hardest to beat. BARRA MUNDY (3) has turned a corner with his form and was only bloused by a nose after leading up at Pinjarra-Scarpside 13 days ago. He has a tougher draw this time but is heading the right way and is well worth including in all multiples.

Race 4: QUAYCLEAN HANDICAP (1200m)

HOUSEWIFE (7) has made some solid progress this season and stepped up in grade to score a comfortable win here 3 weeks ago courtesy of a good ride that day. She has 2.5kg less to carry this time thanks to a claim and there is no reason why she can't win again. DIAMOND DANCER (9) was an easy maiden winner last spring before having a couple of runs in Stakes company where she held her own. She has been freshened up and drops back from a mile to 1200m. She is likely to be hitting the line late and can have the last say. AT YOUR SERVICE (8) has been racing well since winning out of her grade by nearly a length at Belmont early last month. She has a good draw and another honest effort is on the cards. MISS AVA (1) resumes from a decent spell and has won fresh up in the past. She was runner-up in a recent trial and will have the blinkers on for the first time. Each way claims with the advantage of the pole position.

Race 5: RACING WA CAREERS IN RACING HANDICAP (1200m)

TRESPASSING (10) made solid progress last prep and is resuming from a spell after finishing third in his last start at Belmont. He has been placed in 3 of his 5 fresh-up starts in the past and also has winning form on the track. He will likely push forward early on and with a touch of luck, can have a say in the finish. CAPO VELOCE (5) ran out of condition fresh up and weakened to finish near the rear of the field after settling just off the pace. The visors replace the blinkers this time and he also starts from the pole position. Troy Turner is back in the saddle and the pair merit healthy respect. CLOSE AT HAND (2) won a trial before finishing on late to run second fresh up as favourite here 3 weeks ago. The extra furlong is ideal and he is poised after a 3kg claim to go one better. PACIFIC BOXER (1) travelled wide and did not finish off his resuming run at Pinjarra and strips fitter for this. He is normally consistent and can figure in the top 3 this time.

Race 6: SCHWEPPES HANDICAP (1400m)

BLEECKER STREET (1) has raced his way back into some good form and was less than a length from the winner when finishing runner-up at Pinjarra 11 days ago over 1200m. The extra furlong here will suit him and he is ready to win again at short notice. THOROGOOD (3) will find this easier than his last few starts and a 3kg claim will help reduce his weight down to 56kg. He has been freshened up and is not out of this. Each way value. JUSTAMIDDY (8) needed his first run back from a spell at Pinjarra 11 days ago and normally improves with racing. He had 3 trials before that start and is worth including in all combinations. INFURIATED (7) charged home late to finish fourth fresh up at Bunbury and will improve quickly with that run under his belt. He won a trial prior to that run and can take this out.

Race 7: OWN THE DREAM 2025 REGISTRATIONS OPEN HANDICAP (1600m)

NOBLE CONNECTION (4) won as expected from a wide gate at Bunbury when clearing his maiden status there 10 days ago. He finds himself with another tough draw but has plenty of scope and can make it 2 wins in a row. MY IDOL (7) may have found 1800m a touch too far at this stage of his career and is better placed over a mile. He won over this trap at Albany in his penultimate start and can bounce straight back into the money here. SIDE SHOW (6) has found it hard to win another race and was less than a length from the winner when finishing third at Pinjarra 11 days ago over 1400m. The extra furlong will help and has top 3 claims again. TROOPER PHOENIX (3) was only beaten by a head fresh up at Narrogin 18 days ago and will love the step up to a mile. He is having his second start for a new trainer and should be right in the finish again.
