Gamblin' Guru crossed state lines and proved too good in the Port Adelaide Guineas.
In a tight three-way finish, Gamblin' Guru got the bob in on the line to score.
Gamblin' Guru settled down in sixth position between runners. He loomed up on cornering looking the winner but took his time to head the long-time leader Rednav, who fought back strongly on his inside.
Kushadasi produced an eye-catching, run finishing strongly on the outside to grab second right on the line. He would have won given a few more strides.
Rednav did a lot of work and battled strongly, only going under the final strides.
