Breaking the maiden over 2200m back in April 2024, then repeating the dose in Class 1 company over 2050m, the daughter of Fiorente cemented her staying ability when placing in the Group 3 SA Fillies Classic, before heading for a well earnt break.

Stepping back out over shorter trips to kick off the campaign back in November, Gotta Go Guru reaffirmed her staying prowess on Saturday when finally rising to a suitable trip (2000m) to make very light work (3.3L) of a BM72 field.

A tick off her SA Fillies Classic rating, our sectionals at Racing and Sports suggest she had a fair bit up her sleeve on Saturday and had the capability of making more of a statement.

Andrew Gluyas has another promising stayer on his hands and there's no doubt there's more success is around the corner for this four-year-old mare.
