Lizzie L'Amour was allowed to drop back to midfield (one out) from barrier three approaching the judge with a circuit to run. Out of the far bend and into the back straight jockey Matthew Cameron found space on the rails and moved closer into fifth where they remained to the 600m. Cameron then got away from the rail and looked to challenge four wide as they straightened. Cameron gave the mare a shake and at the 200m she bounded to the front by two lengths and held on well to the line for a good win.

Snow Secret was locked away on the rails in third last approaching the last corner, poked through and tracked the winner the length of the straight, finishing well for a solid second.

Megablast sat outside Snow Secret around the corner, pulled wide into the straight and tried to go with the winner then battled well to hold third.

Candle In The Wind was last turning in, shot through against the fence then battled away the length of the straight for fourth.
