Morphettville trainer Jim Smith landed his first winner in many months when his charge Midnight Storm took out the 1000 metre opening race at Morphettville on Saturday.
Ridden by apprentice Raquel Clark Midnight Storm was in the leading division throughout the event.

Social Set proved winning form is good form when he brought up his second win in four days in the 1800 metre sixth race.Being under the care of co-trainers Nicky O’Shea and Ashton Downing, Social Set gradually improved from a rearward position to win.

Prepared at Angaston by Tony McEvoy, I’ll Decide came from a rearward position with a strong run over the concluding stages of the event.After showing form in four of its previous five starts the Trevor Dansie and Natasha Storr trained Idatwo broke through for a win in the 1100 metre final event.
Piloted by Simon Price Idatwo was well back before finishing the race off with a late charge to the lead.
