Caipirinha wins 2018 Miss Andretti Stakes Listed $100,000 at Ascot (WA), 1100m.

Highly consistent mare Dainty Tess was third early on before racing back in fourth place (with cover) from the 600m. She made her move at the 300m, got to second at the 100m and kept making ground in the sprint home for a very good second.

Volkoff raced in third place on the rails and kept fighting on gamely in the straight to gain the minor placing in a photo.

Caipirinha recorded her third stakes success and her fifth win in 19 starts in scoring here. She was smartly away and soon went to the front. She then travelled along nicely at a reasonable tempo, grabbed a break on turning for home and fought back to win well. Highly consistent mare Dainty Tess was third early on before racing back in fourth place (with cover) from the 600m. She made her move at the 300m, got to second at the 100m and kept making ground in the sprint home for a very good second.
