Just days after Flying Empress brought up a back-to-back wins with ease fellow Triple Crown Syndications-raced Flying Snitzel commenced her career in winning fashion at Canterbury Park last Friday.
Flying Snitzel looked a dominating figure in the parade ring and then duly saluted when blitzing her opposition on debut over 1200m.
The young Snitzel filly flew the gates and assumed the lead whilst setting a solid tempo.
Flying Snitzel made it a one act affair in the straight when jockey Tommy Berry gave her a little more rein and she scooted away from the field before being eased down over the final 100m to score an all the way win by 3.3 lengths.
"It was an impressive win on Friday,” Said Triple Crown's Chris Ward.
“She is a filly who just keeps improving with every bit of work. She's a cracking type and to see her accelerate away like that after setting a pretty solid tempo was a great effort.
“We had a huge group of owners and friends out there and I can tell you there was an almighty roar when she took out the race. It's always a great thrill to see so many excited owners experiencing that feeling that only fellow winning owners can ever relate to. They are a fun group of owners and we were rapt to get them an exciting horse like her.
Triple Crown's team of owners are enjoying a very prosperous time as they lead in to Christmas. Flying Empress has been the headline act with a pair of wins while fillies Flying Snitzel and Testanova have also recorded eye catching successes.
"Weeks like these make all the hard work worth it" Ward said.
"Michael [Ward] and I do an enormous amount of work to ensure we select the right horses in the first place and then we are constantly working with our selected trainers to maximise our success on the track for our owners.
"We are now gearing up for the Magic Millions sales on the Gold Coast in January where we will be looking to find some more exciting youngsters."
