Punters seem to have forgiven Al's Magic Miss ahead of tomorrow's Canterbury meeting, happy to jump back on the filly despite her first-up second placing when well backed three weeks ago.
The David Payne three-year-old has firmed from $4 into $3.40 in early fixed odds markets with TAB Sportsbet, with one punter shelling out $1200 on Al's Magic Miss to win the Benchmark 84 Fillies and Mares Handicap (1100m).
Meanwhile, money continues to flow for Gerald Ryan runner Beune to win the open two-year-old race over 1200m.
Ryan's filly has gone from $14 into $8 with the biggest go coming at $11 where one backer invested $1000.
Punters are also hoping for a strong finish at Canterbury with Bereft firming from $6 into $5 to win the Thoroughbred Breeders NSW Handicap (1550m).
There's also been plenty of money splashed around ahead of tomororw's Sandown meeting in Victoria.
Henwood has attracted the most interest in the second last on the program with TAB Sportsbet holding one bet of $2000 at $4.40. The three-year-old has since firmed into $3.60.
