Five juvenile heats were conducted at Rosehill this morning on Heavy going where the Allan Denham-trained filly Ichihara won the fastest 900m heat of the morning in 54.06 seconds.

Currently quoted at $13 for the Group 1 Golden Slipper, Peter Snowden-trained Meidung finished third in her heat behind Blazing Snitzel.

The Gai Waterhouse-trained filly is $26 for the Golden Slipper with her lone career start to date a second behind stablemate No Looking Back last November.

Unraced David Payne-trained filly Secret Delight won Heat 8 before Faustus lined up in the following trial and finished second behind another unraced juvenile in the Tim Martin-trained Le Cap.

After being a late scratching from the Canonbury last Saturday, Nediym's Quest trialled successfully this morning winning by two lengths.

The David Pfieffer-trained colt is currently a $26 chance in TAB Sportsbet's early Golden Slipper market after being well supported for the lucrative juvenile event prior to his initially planned debut.

Gai Waterhouse had a large contingent of triallers early in the morning including Just The Tonic (3rd), Western Symbol (4th), Once Were Wild (6th) and Shared Reflections (7th) in Heat 1 over 1030m.

Group 2 winner Fast Clip followed in Heat 2 where he finished third behind the David Payne-trained Cardinal Virtue.

Chris Waller runners were prominent in Heats 4 and 5.

Firebolt won his 900m trial ahead of Forfeiture and Happy Zero with staying types Beijing Boy (7th) and Hawk Island (8th) also having hit-outs both prior to resuming on Saturday.

Waller's likely Doncaster bound trio of Snow Alert, Albert The Fat and Foreteller trialled in Heat 5 finishing second, eighth and ninth respectively.
