Melbourne's premier trainer Peter Moody has Lights Of Heaven set to kick off her spring campaign in the Group 2 over 1400m after wintering in Queensland.

Lights Of Heaven, a G1 winner as a three-year-old when she won the Australasian Oaks in Adelaide at only her fourth start, was given a short Queensland spell after she won the Brisbane Cup (2400m) at Eagle Farm on June 9.

The Queensland climate obviously agreed with the Zabeel mare as she was in top form over the carnival, running second in the G1 Doomben Cup (2020m) and winning the G2 Eagle Farm Cup (2200m) before her Brisbane Cup success.

With his Sydney satellite stable now established at Rosehill Moody has decided to use Sydney's early weight-for-age races as the foundation for Lights Of Heaven's spring campaign aimed at the Caulfield Cup.

Moody has also nominated Power O'Raylee for the Warwick Stakes (1400m) with other interstate entries coming from Queensland trainers Norm Hilton (Bold Glance) and Gillian Heinrich (Startsmeup).

Startsmeup, winner of his last two starts in Brisbane, finished third in last year's Warwick Stakes won by Pinwheel.

Pinwheel resumed with a dominant win in the Missile Stakes (1200m) at Warwick Farm on August 11 and is the only Warwick Stakes entry from the Peter Snowden stable.

Group One winners Danleigh and Secret Admirer are also among the 16 entries along with Maluckyday, Polish Knight and the NZ 2000 Guineas winner Rock 'N' Pop, now trained in Sydney by Gai Waterhouse.

Exciting filly She's A Fox heads the 17 entries for the G3 Silver Shadow Stakes (1200m) but has also been nominated for the G3 Up And Coming Stakes (1300m) where she could be asked to take on the colts.
