Damien Oliver has been confirmed to partner Quest For Peace when the Luca Cumani-trained stayer contests both the Caulfield and Melbourne Cups.
The OTI raced stayer will arrive in Melbourne on Saturday where he will be prepared for a first Australian start in the Group 1 Caulfield Cup (2400m) on October 20.
Quest For Peace comes to Australia following back to back successes in the Group 3 Glorious Stakes (2414m) and the Listed March Stakes (2816m) last month.
Connections confirmed on TVN this morning Hall Of Fame jockey Damien Oliver will partner the multiple stakes winner who currently sits high in the markets and order of entry for both Cups.
It will be the fifth season Oliver has combined with Luca Cumani in the feature staying races over the Melbourne Spring Carnival.
Oliver has previously partnered ex Cumani runner Manighar in 2010/11 and Mad Rush and Purple Moon during 2009 and 2008 respectively.
His best result out of the quartet came aboard 2008 Cup runner up Purple Moon.
